3rd Annual Florida Psycholinguistics Meeting

On October 21, 2017, the 3rd Annual Florida Psycholinguistics Meeting was held at UF.  At least 70 faculty members and students from all over the state of Florida, from Tallahassee to Miami, converged on Gainesville to share their research.  The all-day event included 12 speakers on a range of topics including bilingualism, language acquisition, sound perception and sentence processing. In addition, a poster session featured 27 posters on a wide range of language-related topics.  The event was sponsored by the Hearing Research Center and the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, as well as the Department of Linguistics and the Department of Psychology.  The event was organized by the UF Language and Brain Interest Group.
