Speech, Language, & Hearing Online…Join the Gator Nation
Our online academic programs are designed for individuals who are seeking an alternative to the on-campus experience. The distance learning program is truly global in its scope: our students come from all parts of the United States and a range of other countries. All of our distance-learning courses are designed by our academic faculty, and the courses are comparable in quality and difficulty to our on-campus offerings. These programs enable our Department to extend its excellence in education beyond the boundaries of our Gainesville, FL campus!
We offer two academic degrees via distance learning. These degrees carry the same level of prestige as our traditional on-campus programs:
- Our online Doctorate of Audiology degree program is designed for working professionals who already hold a graduate degree (e.g., M.A.) in audiology. The program was started in 1998 and has graduated over 1400 Au.D. students to date.
- Our undergraduate Bachelor of Health Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders provides upper division coursework for students who have completed an A.A. degree and/or all necessary General Education requirements and critical tracking courses.
We also offer a Post-Baccalaureate studies option.
- This non-degreed program is designed for those individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than Communication Sciences and Disorders and now are seeking to complete pre-requisite undergraduate coursework to be eligible for graduate study in speech-language pathology or audiology.
