Post-Baccalaureate Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders
Complete graduate school prerequisites via distance learning.
The online Post-Baccalaureate Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders program is offered by the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, which is part of the College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida. All courses in the post-baccalaureate program are taught through a distance learning environment.
This online post-baccalaureate program is designed primarily for individuals who have earned a Bachelor’s degree in an area other than Communication Sciences and Disorders and now wish to use a distance learning platform to complete the prerequisite courses (“leveling courses”) that are necessary to be considered for admission to a graduate program in audiology or speech-language pathology. Before you apply to this post-baccalaureate program, you first should verify that the graduate programs to which you will apply do indeed require these courses and, if so, which courses are required. Please note that this post-baccalaureate program is not a degreed program; therefore, the students who complete it do not earn a diploma. Courses and associated grades from the program are recorded on an official academic transcript, however.
Due to space limitations, we are not able to offer classes to non-degree seeking students unless they have been admitted to the post-baccalaureate program.
