Dr. Karen Hegland to Serve as President of ISARP
Dr. Karen Hegland was recently elected to serve a two-year term as president of the International Society for the Advancement of Respiratory Psychophysiology (ISARP). This mission of the society is “to promote and advance knowledge of the interrelationships between psychological and physiological aspects of respiration in research and application.” To this end, ISARP consists of international members in many different health-related fields, including psychologists, psychiatrists, physiologists, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and nurses.
