Samantha Erfe, AuD class of 2024, awarded a T35 Research Traineeship

Samantha Erfe, a 3rd-year Doctor of Audiology student has been awarded a 3-month, full-time T35 Research Traineeship at Vanderbilt University Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD). She will be collecting cortical auditory potentials to demonstrate the feasibility of using complex auditory stimuli to evaluate higher-order auditory processing in the clinic. Her traineeship will begin in May, 2022. She will also have the opportunity to present the research at the annual conference of the American Auditory Society in 2023.
