Curriculum vitae

Lauren Sherman is a clinical speech-language pathologist specializing in adult acute care and pediatric outpatient care, with focus in the evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. She specializes in the management of individuals with cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders secondary to stroke and neurological disorders. Lauren received her Bachelor of Health Science in May 2011 and Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders in May 2013 from the University of Florida. She completed her clinical fellowship at UF Health and recently joined the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences as clinical faculty in July 2015. Currently, Lauren sees outpatient pediatric patients at the UF Health Speech and Hearing Center, as well as adult and pediatric inpatients at UF Health Shands Hospital.
